A holiday home with a tree house
HoToLo

~Hotoro~

Soni Village is located in the northeastern tip of Nara Prefecture.

To the east, the Soni Plateau, famous for its silver grass, spreads out with its magnificent natural beauty.

To the west are magnificent mountains with exposed columnar jointed rock surfaces, such as Yoroi-dake, Kabuto-dake, and Byobuiwa.

HoToLo is a rental villa that comes equipped with a tree house nestled in the heart of the mountains.

Time flows peacefully here, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.

What is "Hotoro"?

This is a dialect word meaning a large bracken leaf.

(It's a dialect you don't hear very often.)
The following year, new buds will grow at the base of the bracken leaves.

It is our hope that this rental villa will take firm root and grow in the Nara region in this way.

Also, hotos are found in warm, cozy places.

For me, collecting ferns is like the treasure hunt I did when I was a child, and it makes me excited every year.

We want HoToLo to be a space where customers can feel warmth and excitement, and want to return.

In HoToLo,

You can enjoy the changing nature of the four seasons, return to your childhood, and relax your mind and body .

The Soni Plateau area is designated as Muroo Akame Aoyama Quasi-National Park and is one of the leading highland resorts in the Kansai region . We look forward to welcoming you to try the delicious vegetables and fruits grown in the great outdoors of Soni , as well as the natural hot spring Okame-no-Yu, known for its "beauty baths," and the craft beer Soni Plateau Beer.
